From my experience, definitely upgrade to an executive suite if bachelor. The lobby is enchanting with an first-class bar. Starbucks is conveniently located beneath the anteroom. Enjoyed my stay!
-
If yous must shop in the Loop, this is your subconscious oasis. Skip the vestibule bar and head dorsum to Potter's. They mix the Manhattans strong (but balanced) so plan on calling for a ride afterwards.
-
Palmer House Hotel was rebuilt in the mid-1920'southward only previously was congenital in the early on 1870's making it one of longest continuously operating hotels in the U.Due south. A lot of famous people take stayed here

A great, historic hotel. The lobby is fantastically opulent. The front desk staff is kind of snooty, but the breakfast restaurant and staff are keen. Smaller rooms and tiny bathrooms.

Greatest staff Ever! Thoughtful, considerate and e'er polite! 2nd best detail is the architecture and I dearest the 100 yr old photos on the walls!
-
Stunning architecture ... but they're cyberbanking on that. Everything else is half-assed. "20% convenience fee" quietly added to snacks you pay for upon impact, leftover painters tape, no special requests.
-
free wifi in the lobby or starbucks. or $6.95 for i hr, $12.95 for 24. the business suite was as large as my principal bedchamber cupboard. it felt weird. dear that millenium park is only blocks abroad!!

Super lindo el lugar, tiene esa atmósfera de antiguo. Todo muy bien y todos super amables

The entrance hall was very elegant like a snapshot in time. Merely the rooms were very dated, thin walls, tiny bathrooms, and really I felt similar I lived in a velvet Elvis painting for iii days. Wouldn't revisit.
-
Historic, bully architecture. Proms, weddings, yous name it, information technology goes on here. Grab 1 of their many not bad drinks in the lounge around the Lockwood Eating house. Get the Bertha cocktail.
-
This hotel has a keen Wedgewood ceiling in the antechamber. Information technology is a really lovely atmosphere if you demand a break from the dinginess of the State Street shops.
-
The business organisation center is on 7th floor. When exiting the 8 depository financial institution plow left to the column with the burn down hose. Walk around information technology and yous'll run across a drinking glass door. That'south it! Have prophylactic trip home.
-
Ask almost room size / local. I can brush my teeth at the sink and flush the toilet while standing in the shower. If I wanted NYC rooms, I'd exist in NYC. Plus the bldg configuration = v. dark rooms
-
Freshii is right next door to Palmer. I love Freshii and then this is a bonus. Too, the fitness center in the eighth floor is pretty nice. Yoga room is available.

-
The rooms are pocket-size and bathroom shower needs an upgrade. Overall the Palmer House is a Nod to onetime world or historical hotel experience. Booked through Expedia 159.00, crawly toll on the Mile.

Fettle center and spa are unaffiliated with the hotel. They give 50% discount drop-in charge per unit to guests; Hilton Honours members silverish and up can use for free. Driblet-in rates include classes.

-
very nice hotel - dearest ceiling mural near check in but the registration process is painfully slow every time. astoundingly so.
-
My room was a king on the 23rd floor (executive level) and it was slap-up. Enough of space and beautiful. We even had two bathrooms which was squeamish. This hotel is in a perfect location.
-
The Burger and Fries at Potter's is admittedly the best!! And the rooms with ii beds and 2 baths are huge!!
-
neat place for the holidays! splurge to stay on the executive floor. the breakfast is fast and hot

Est. 1871. Invented brownies in 1893 for the Columbian Exposition World'southward Fair.
-
Everything was fantastic: the room (executive level); the service; the building. My but complaint is that the TV channels were a bit... Bones. The CN was the merely thing appealing to younger people.

Make sure to download the Hilton app and bank check in on your phone before mitt or else the digital cardinal won't work.
